A significant cooperation protocol has been signed between the Municipality of Gazimağusa and Cyprus West University, aimed at contributing to the city’s development and encouraging active student participation.

In his speech, Gazimağusa Mayor Süleyman Uluçay expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, saying, “We are pleased to sign this cooperation protocol with Cyprus West University, which is steadily growing in our city. Through this agreement, we believe that students will contribute meaningfully to the city’s social life and municipal services. I extend my thanks to the university and its esteemed Rector.”

Cyprus West University Rector Prof. Dr. Canan Hecer emphasized the mutual benefits of the collaboration, stating, “We are grateful to our Municipality for providing us with this opportunity and for creating this partnership with us. I hope it will be beneficial for both parties.”

Under the protocol, students from Cyprus West University are expected to take an active role in various social responsibility projects organized by the municipality and contribute more effectively to the urban life of Gazimağusa.
