University Executive Board
The University Executive Board is a decision-making body for administrative and financial matters. Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Higher Education Law authorises universities to form executive boards. According to Cyprus West University Founding Charter, rector, deans, faculty/vocational school directors, department chairs, and elected representatives of professors, associate professors, and assistant professors are members of the University Executive Board.
The Duties of the duties of the University Executive Board are as follows:
1) Assisting the rector in executing the decisions of the Senate and higher education governing bodies.
2) Ensuring the timely implication of activity schedules and programs
3) Evaluating the budget proposal, considering the proposals of the university units, and presenting the draft budget to the Rectorate.
4) Making decisions regarding the university administration brought up by the Rector.
5) Investigating and concluding the objections to the faculty or institute executive boards.
6) Executing other duties assigned by the relative legislation.
