Requirements for studying in Cyprus

The requirements for studying in Cyprus as a Foreigner include English language certificates, such as IELTS or TOEFL, a copy of passport or ID, a copy of the high school diploma for undergraduates and a copy of the diploma for postgraduates and a student visa for a residence permit in the country (not valid for students from the European Union) .

Undergraduate Scholarship Opportunities for International Students

Cyprus West University offers a variety of scholarships to all foreign students in undergraduate programs according to their level of success.

  • 50% Scholarship are being offered to international students in Graduate Programs
  • 50% Scholarship are being offered to international students in Undergraduate Programs

A 50% Scholarship is being offered to those who are qualified for any master’s degree programs. The Scholarship committee in cooperation with academic affairs will decide about it.

If the score is between:

  • (1161 -1240), the student will get a 5% Scholarship
  • (1241 – 1350),the student will get a 10% Scholarship
  • (1351 – 1530),the student will get a 20% Scholarship
  • (1531 – 1600),the student will get a 40% Scholarship

Cyprus West University offers the Transfer Student Scholarship which will cover 75% of the tuition fees, for whom wants to continue their major in our university,  regardless of which department they choose.

  • 2 registered siblings, each will get a 10% discount
  • 3 or more registered siblings, each will get a 15% discount

Registered undergraduate students who have studied for at least two semesters and who have achieved at least 3.00 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and 3.50 Grade Point Average (GPA), receive a CWU academic achievement scholarship of 70% to 100% reduction in their tuition fees, depending on their academic status.
